Can you trade stocks on FTMO?

According to FTMO's trading update of 12 March 2026, its stock symbols "are designed to track the spot price of the underlying stocks". The position follows the stock's price, but no share changes hands.
FTMO states on its symbols page that all accounts it provides are demo accounts with fictitious funds and that any trading is in a simulated environment only.
Which stocks are named
FTMO's trading update of 12 March 2026 lists new equity CFDs including AMD, Arm Holdings, ASML, Broadcom, Boeing, Coca-Cola, Disney, Exxon Mobil, GameStop, IBM, Intel, JPMorgan Chase, McDonald's, Nike, Palantir and Qualcomm, plus European names such as Adidas, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Siemens and TotalEnergies.
That update says the new symbols were first available only on Free Trial accounts, set to read-only, with trading enabled from Monday, 16 March 2026. FTMO's symbols page holds the live list of what is tradable.
What the pages read here do not say
The FTMO pages read here do not give a separate rule set for stocks: the loss limits, targets and minimum days are the Trading Objectives that apply to the account type. The pages also do not state which stock CFDs are available on each account type, so that is left to the symbols page.
