About Kairotick
By the Kairotick team. Updated .
Kairotick makes free tools and plain-English references for prop firm and MetaTrader 5 traders, and TradeWarden, an Expert Advisor that keeps a prop firm account inside its loss limits.
What is on this site
- Prop firm rules explained: the daily loss limit, the max loss and the reset time of each program, with dollar examples. News trading rules sit beside them.
- Economic calendar: the releases that move the dollar, gold and the indices, one page each, in your own time zone, with US market holidays.
- Free tools: a lot size calculator, a prop firm drawdown calculator, a trading journal made from your MT5 report, a revenge trade check and free MT5 indicators.
- TradeWarden, the paid MT5 Expert Advisor, with its full test report and a comparison with 16 other tools.
Where the numbers come from
Every prop firm rule is read from the firm's own pages, and each rule page names its source and the month it was read. The economic calendar takes its dates and times only from the official publishers: the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Bureau of Economic Analysis, the Census Bureau, the Federal Reserve, the Department of Labor, the European Central Bank, Eurostat, the UK Office for National Statistics, the Bank of Canada, Statistics Canada, the Reserve Bank of Australia and the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
The calculators run in your browser. The trading journal and the revenge trade check read your MT5 report on your own device; the file is not uploaded.
How the pages stay current
The calendar is rebuilt every day from those official schedules. Each page shows the date it last changed, under its title. TradeWarden's test report lists every test run of the build you would install, the failures included.
Who makes it
Kairotick and TradeWarden are built by the Kairotick team. Nothing on this site is financial advice: it explains rules and does the arithmetic, and the trading decisions stay yours.
