Is news trading allowed at Alpha Capital Group?

The short answer
In the evaluation phases, yes, freely. Once funded (Qualified Analyst Pro, One, Three and Direct), you may not open or close trades on the targeted instruments from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after the listed news; holding a trade opened earlier is allowed. Alpha Swing allows news trading, but a trade started within 2 minutes of a release must last more than 2 minutes.
Funded accounts
Alpha Capital's help center (updated August 25, 2026): "On our Qualified Analyst Pro / One / Three / Direct accounts, you are NOT permitted to execute any new trades or close existing trades on the targeted instruments (as listed in the table) within the window of 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after the release of the news announcements below."
Executing includes pending orders, stop loss and take profit. "You are allowed to hold trades on the targeted instrument(s), provided they were opened more than 5 minutes before the restricted news event." A violation "will be classified as a Soft Breach, and any profits earned will not be eligible for a performance fee."
Which news
US CPI, Federal Funds Rate decisions with the press conference, and Non-Farm Employment Change affect all instruments. Many other releases affect the currency's own instruments, from jobless claims, PMI, ISM and retail sales for USD to central bank decisions for each currency. A release counts when it is on Alpha's list and high-impact on at least one of Myfxbook or Forex Factory.

Can I hold a trade through news at Alpha Capital?
Yes, on funded accounts, if it was opened more than 5 minutes before the restricted release; but a stop loss or take profit filled inside the window is a violation.
