Is news trading allowed at E8 Markets?

E8 Signature and E8 Pro

E8's help center (updated September 11, 2026): "You can trade news on E8 Signature and E8 Pro without any restrictions", including the SimFi challenge account and the SimFi performance account. E8 still recommends avoiding high-impact releases because of slippage.

E8 One

"In the SimFi Challenge stage, you can trade news without any restrictions." "In the SimFI Performance account, trading is strictly prohibited during high-impact news events. This prohibition period begins 5 minutes before the scheduled news release and ends 5 minutes after the release."

E8 lists what is prohibited in that window: opening new trades, closing trades, stop loss and take profit, and buy stop and sell stop orders. For speeches the window runs from 5 minutes before the speech begins until 5 minutes after it ends. "If you violate this rule, profits are automatically deducted from your account balance after your request payout." All non-targeted instruments can be traded without restriction.
